Abbu’s story, in a flyer.

I created this flyer for Fanos, bringing together Abbu’s story and the message that discharge is part of stroke care.

The thinking behind it

I wanted Abbu’s story and the message about safer discharge to lead. In an earlier version, the Fanos branding drew too much attention, so I asked for the emphasis to shift back to the story. The flyer also includes a QR code linking readers to the companion website for videos and more information.

Groundwork

A student app for planning tasks, managing schedules, and staying focused.

Groundwork began with me wanting to become more organized while lying in my messy room. I only knew basic HTML when I started, so I learned as I built. The first APK crashed on opening, and I learned to tackle problems one at a time.

A little about me.

I like finding an easier way to do things. Sometimes that turns into an app; sometimes it means learning something new.

When I work with a team, I care about clear communication, taking responsibility, and helping everyone move forward.

Behind Barok Labs

Some of my projects started with a problem close to home: wanting to get organized, helping my sister with her writing, or building a reminder app for my dad. Getting something I had struggled with into other people’s hands made me want to keep going.

Barok Labs is the studio I founded for my products and client projects. It brings those different pieces of work together under one name.

First lines of HTML

Wrote my first line of HTML in 10th grade and started exploring how websites and software work.

2025

Started building apps

Began building web and mobile apps, learning how to connect frontends, backends, and databases.

2026

Groundwork & Barok Labs

Founded Barok Labs to develop and launch products independently, including Groundwork, Arvo, and client projects.
